Syndicated Loan

Syndicated loan is a form of loan business in which two or more lenders jointly provide loans for one or more borrowers on the same loan terms and with different duties and sign the same loan agreement. Usually, one bank is appointed as the agency bank to manage the loan business on behalf of the syndicate members.

Syndicated loans can be applied to a broad range of purposes, for example: General Working Capital, Capital Expenditure, Trade Finance, Property Development, Refinancing, Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Export-credit Finance, Asset-backed Finance (including shipping finance, aircraft finance, etc.).

Syndicated loans are tailor-made to meet our customers’ financing needs. Typical types of syndicated facilities include:

  • • Bridge Loan: usually 1 year
  • • Medium Term Loan: 3 - 5 years
  • • Long Term Loan: 5 years or above
  • • Revolving Credit Facility: 1 - 5 years

CCB NZ can organize the syndicated loans for customers as a leading bank and also can be a member bank to participate in the syndicated loan.
